For Benefit Artwork
All the artwork on this page is either free or 50% off with proof of a donation to a charity.
First, some rules, then an explanation of why.
RULES
1) You need proof of your donation
After you purchase an artwork you'll receive an e-mail from me asking for proof/a receipt of your donation to a charity. Your donation needs to have been within the previous 3 days or any time after your purchase. If you have not provided a proof of donation within 10 days of purchase you will receive a bill for the remaining percentage of the price.
2) The donation can be any amount
The discounted price can be a guide to how much to donate (i.e. if a $250 painting is discounted 50% to $125, then a $125 donation to a charity would be awesome, but a $25 donation is fine too because any donation to a charity is a good idea).
3) I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason
Such as: Don't donate to hate groups. Don't abuse this system and buy 20 free paintings and make one $5 donation.
A short list of non-profits I like are here, but you are welcome to choose your own.

WHY
The primary aim of these abstract works is too be nice to look at. There is a lot of beauty in the world and I find art to be an effective way to pause, breathe, and be reminded of the bright and lovely things in our world. I want to share these artworks with people; have them live where they'll be looked at.
I don't want art to be an inaccessible luxury. However, it is a luxury. And many other people in this country and the world have basic needs that are not being met. This is a way to buy something for yourself and give to others.
A lot of my artwork has been/is politically charged. The content of my figurative artwork and the accompanying statements make my political and humanitarian concerns obvious, but while the abstracts are not a reaction to any particular topic in the world I would still like them to aim for positive effects on communities.
