EDITIONS

Every month (or so) I’m releasing a set of collages : hand-painted acrylic paper, Cricut cut, hand-assembled.

Each will be an Edition of 6 or so “variations”, i.e. the basic design will be the same, but some or all of the colors for the shapes will be different.

Instead of a limited print with an edition of 50, where each one is exactly the same, this is a set of ~6 unique variations on a design. So it’s both an edition and unique.
Using the same master design (mostly the same shapes collaged in the same order) means it’s more efficient than my usual oil paintings. More efficient means the price can be lower.

Editions Payments

Payment is handled in one of two ways, either:

  1. purchase through this website.

  2. make a donation to a non-profit and share proof with me in lieu of payment.

E-mail me your proof of donation here.

Donation Questions

Why are you offering the choice about whether or not to pay for these paintings?

  • I want to ensure some of my artwork is more affordable. And I want to support worthy causes. And I want to encourage others to support worthy causes.

Why not sell the paintings and donate the money yourself?

  • I do what I can, but I can't donate all my revenue to non-profits, it's problematic for my taxes.

I was going to donate to [Does Good Things] anyway, can I still get a discount on one of your paintings?

  • Yep. Whether you were debating between how to spend $50 or you automate monthly donations to [Does Good Things], share some proof (e-mail receipt, screenshot) that you support non-profits and I’ll share discount codes.

What if I still want to pay you something for the artwork or for shipping?

  • Sure, it’s a pay what you want kind of system.
Let’s say that the artwork you want is $75 and shipping is $6. You made a $50 donation to [Does Good Things] and I’ve accepted your proof of donation. I’ll send you discount codes for several amounts so you choose the code that suits you - Do you want to pay nothing? Fine. Do you want to pay $25 for the artwork and $6 for shipping? Fine.

How recently should the donation be?

  • Within the last 30 days. Or within 3 days of e-mailing to put a painting on hold.

Are there specific non-profits that you should donate to?

  • Each month I will offer suggestions, but you can donate to any non-profit you want
CAVEAT: that doesn't promote hate. I get to define this and it's within my discretion to reject a donation I don't like - don't try to trick me into rewarding you for supporting TERFs, Nazis, whatever. It can be national, local, or your aunt’s gofundme for her cat’s surgery.
